Going Batty!

The bat lady "Dottie" came to visit us today from Bat World out in White Settlement. It is a bat rescue and rehabilitation center. Dottie showed us 5 bats, gave us facts, and shared how to make a bat rescue box. I even got to pet a brown bat and feel it vibrate. She said they do that, like cats do, when they are comfortable. Welcome to Blog Post #1!!

I'm so excited to blogging for the 1st time!  It is almost the end of week #2 of school.  We have been busy learning routines, practicing Daily 5, and getting to know our friends.  I absolutely love my new 23 friends in 3C.  Pictures to come!!
